When you sign up, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive the profile information those services share (typically name, email, and profile photo).
To personalize your experience, we store your household context: how many people you cook for, your cooking equipment, dietary restrictions, cuisine preferences, available cooking time, and skill level. You provide this information directly and can update it at any time.
We store the recipes you save (including those generated by AI and those you import from URLs), your meal planning queue, shopping lists, and your cooking history including ratings and notes.
We collect standard server logs and analytics data, including pages visited, features used, session duration, and error reports. This helps us understand how the service is used and improve it over time.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We implement industry-standard security practices including access controls, secure credential storage, and regular security reviews.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We only send marketing emails (such as weekly meal inspiration or new feature announcements) if you have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by updating your notification preferences in account settings.
We will always send transactional emails related to your account (such as password resets or important service notices) regardless of your marketing preferences.

SupperAgent is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@supperagent.com and we will delete it promptly.
